Job Description

As a Rehabilitation Consultant within the New Employment Services team, you’ll help people facing health challenges find new employment opportunities and support them in returning to meaningful & sustainable work to live the best life they can!

Some of your day to day includes:

  • Conduct vocational assessments and develop tailored return-to-work plans.
  • Provide vocational counselling, coaching, and job-seeking support.
  • Source employment opportunities and connect clients with suitable employers.
  • Build strong relationships with employers, healthcare providers, and stakeholders.
  • Support injured workers to overcome barriers and achieve sustainable employment outcomes.
  • Prepare case notes, progress updates, and rehabilitation reports.

Qualifications

  • Full ASORC/AHPRA/AASW Registration/Membership with Tertiary Qualifications in Allied Health or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience in Occupational and/ or Vocational Rehabilitation is highly desirable
  • Strong resume writing skills with an understanding of local labour market;
  • A passion for assisting people to gain employment and enhance their careers;
  • The ability to grow our services and build strong relationships with key customers;
  • Current driver licence and motor vehicle.
