IPAR, part of the MedHealth group, is seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant in Liverpool NSW for Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist to join a national multidisciplinary team delivering return to work, injury prevention and tailored care across Workers Compensation, CTP, Life Insurance, Comcare and employer funded programs. In this role you will manage a caseload with Rehabilitation Assistants, apply your clinical expertise to improve return to work outcomes, partner with employers and employees to deliver prevention and workplace education, collaborate with injured workers, employers, insurers and healthcare professionals, and conduct initial, workplace and functional capacity assessments. Job Description

We are currently seeking passionate Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology professionals to join the IPAR team at Liverpool NSW. This role offers flexibility, autonomy and the support of our experienced, multidisciplinary team.

As a Rehabilitation Consultant at IPAR, you will have exposure to a wide range of schemes including Workers Compensation, CTP, Life Insurance, Comcare, Department of Veterans’ Affairs and employer‑funded programs. You will deliver occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a variety of physical and psychological conditions, helping them achieve sustainable return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes. No two days are the same, and your work will make a meaningful difference.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a manageable caseload with support from Rehabilitation Assistants
• Apply your clinical expertise to improve return-to-work outcomes
• Partner with employers and employees to deliver injury prevention and workplace education programs
• Collaborate with injured workers, employers, insurers, and healthcare professionals
• Conduct a range of clinical and vocational assessments, including:
  • Initial assessments
  • Workplace assessments
  • Functional capacity assessments
• Identify barriers and design practical solutions to support recovery and return to work

Qualifications

We’re looking for a motivated and compassionate professional who brings:

• Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology;
• General registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA); or
• Accredited with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) 
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A genuine passion for helping others achieve positive outcomes
• Empathy, resilience, and a client-centred approach
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Previous experience in occupational rehabilitation (desirable, not essential)
• A current NSW Driver’s Licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
