About the role

This position is primarily responsible for maintaining a strong and visible security presence while remaining alert, professional, and focused at all times. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed, and customer-focused team dedicated to delivering high-quality service.

In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service to all clients and visitors, while building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal stakeholders.

Duties include but are not limited to

  • Patrol premises regularly

  • Monitoring surveillance cameras and equipment

  • Authorize entrance of people and vehicles

  • Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel and visitors

  • Report any suspicious behaviours and happenings to supervisors

  • Respond to alarms or suspicious noises, and react in a timely manner

  • Submit reports of daily surveillance activity


Skills & experience

  • Current SA Security License and Driver's license

  • Certificate II or III in Security Operations

  • Physical stamina and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.

  • Excellent observational and surveillance skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
