Put your most relevant experience at the top of your CV. Lead with roles where you built reporting solutions, used Power BI and Excel to deliver dashboards, and supported Aftersales or Field Service teams with data-driven recommendations.

When you describe your skills, prove the must-have capabilities with concrete examples. Show dashboards you created, the business questions they answered and the measurable impact you achieved, such as improved data accuracy, faster decision-making or better customer outcomes.

Be ready to walk through how you would approach a new reporting requirement. Explain how you gather requirements, design a data model, consolidate data from multiple systems and validate results with stakeholders, all while considering data integrity and user experience.

Ask a thoughtful question at the end of the interview. For example: what data sources are central to your Aftersales reporting, and what are the top priorities for automation and reporting improvements in this role?
