We are seeking a highly organised and professional individual to join our Student Accommodation team as a live-in Resident Coordinator | Kairuruku Wharenoho, based in central Auckland/Grafton (Waipārūrū Hall).
This unique and varied role balances student welfare with operational management, focusing on the emotional, physical, and academic wellbeing of all residents. To ensure legislative compliance and provide high-quality pastoral care, the successful candidate will live onsite in an apartment rented at a competitive rate, with electricity and internet provided.
Reporting to the Resident Manager, you will take primary responsibility for three core areas while supporting broader hall operations as required:
Important: This role requires you to live on-site, in a different residence (in a separate apartment), with rent payable for the accommodation.
Hours of work: Sunday to Thursday, 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. At times, you will be required to work outside of these hours to support key residential and accommodation events, with advance notice provided.
This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week), permanent position. The salary range for this role is $62,000 to $72,000, negotiable depending on skills and experience.

Do you work best in the evenings and enjoy a slower start to the morning? This role is perfect for a "night owl," as you will be working afternoon-to-evening shifts, including weekend on-call duties (on a rotating basis, approximately one week in three).
