About the Role…As a key member of our Retail Leadership Team, you’ll drive operational excellence and lead with purpose — inspiring teams, delivering commercial results, and shaping the customer experience across your area.

You’ll play a pivotal role in building strong store leadership capability, fostering team culture, and delivering exceptional customer experiences that help Australians get outdoors and live their best adventures. 

What You’ll Bring

  • ·Proven, Hands-On Leadership Experience – Experience leading large teams in an Area Manager role or multi-site leadership role
  • People-First Leadership - Leads with empathy and accountability — builds strong teams, inspires performance, and develops future leaders.
  • Commercial and Strategic Acumen - Strong ability to analyse performance data, identify opportunities, and translate insights into tangible business results.
  • Willingness to Travel - Comfortable rotational travel across regional South Australia — a mix of day trips and overnight stays.
  • Thrives Under Pressure - Operates confidently in fast-paced, complex environments with agility, resilience, and clear decision-making.

  • Drive Sales & Profit Growth - Drive sales and profit performance across all stores through strategic planning, financial management, and operational excellence.
  • Lead & Develop High Performing Teams: Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers to build high-performing, customer-focused teams.
  • Build a Culture of Growth & Succession: Foster a culture of growth, ensuring succession planning and people development are always front of mind.
  • Champin the Customer Experience - Champion customer experience, ensuring every store delivers an omni-channel experience that keeps customers coming back.
  • Navigate Change with Confidence - Navigate change and complexity, adapting quickly to business shifts and seasonal trends.
  • Build Strong Partnerships - Build strong relationships across teams, peers, and stakeholders to deliver shared success.
