Join our dynamic Energy team and lead the design of transmission line projects, including PLS-CADD modelling and structural design, for a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. What you’ll do:

  • Deliver innovative solutions in the overhead transmission and distribution market, with additional support for the generation and industrial HV sectors.
  • Lead transmission line design projects, demonstrating strong industry experience and project leadership.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of Australian and international standards related to overhead transmission line design, testing, and commissioning.
  • Utilise PLS-CADD software, including TOWER and POLE modules, with proficiency.
  • Understand the full lifecycle of transmission lines—from planning and design through to construction, operation, and maintenance.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering technical growth and collaboration.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to identify and secure new opportunities.
  • Provide technical support to client operations, recommending improvements, upgrades, and promoting innovation, safety, and sustainability.
  • Adhere to all Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) requirements specific to the role.

About You

  • Degree-qualified in Electrical, Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Demonstrated professional experience in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation and with external stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and engineering software tools.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Commercial acumen and a mature understanding of business drivers.
  • Client-focused mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Resilient and adaptable, comfortable working in dynamic and evolving environments.
