Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Retail Manager to oversee the smooth running of our Kerikeri Retail Store on Saturdays from 9am to 4:30pm. 

Ideally you will also be available to cover for the Store Manager on other days of the week, if required.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting store manager in operations and achieving the shop’s revenue targets
  • Sorting donations and restocking shelves
  • Maintaining store displays and cleanliness
  • Collaborating with the manager to price goods appropriately
  • Encouraging and supporting exceptional customer service
  • Leading and motivating volunteers

Qualifications

Ko wai koe - About you:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in retail and interest in second-hand goods
  • Ability to lead and motivate volunteers
  • Customer focused with a "can-do" attitude
  • Organised with an eye for detail
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Be at least 18 years old. 
  • Be physically fit as you will be on your feet all day and lifting and carrying donations.
  • The role is 80% mahi and 20% support and 100% rewarding.
