Retail Sales Associate
KW OilKelley’s Market in Lake Geneva is looking for Retail Sales Associates to join the on-site team. The store sits at 350 N Edwards Blvd, Lake Geneva, WI 53147, and the role supports everyday customer service, sales, and operations on a full-time or part-time basis. It’s a hands-on position that suits people who enjoy working with customers, keeping a store organized, and pitching in to help the team stay smooth throughout busy shifts. Kelley’s Market is part of Kelley Williamson Company, a family-owned business serving Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin since 1926, focused on friendly service that keeps customers coming back.
In this role you’ll be at the front line, welcoming shoppers, handling cashier transactions, stocking shelves and displays, and helping maintain a clean, inviting space. The work is onsite, and you’ll be part of a team that serves everything from a morning pickup to someone’s last stop of the day, aiming to make daily errands a little nicer for every customer who walks through the door.
If you enjoy a fast-paced retail environment, like working with people, and thrive when you can contribute across a few areas, cash handling, restocking, and shop upkeep, this could be a great fit. You’ll be joining a family-owned operation with a long legacy of service in the region, and you’ll have a chance to grow within Kelley’s Market as part of the Kelley Williamson Company family.
A day behind the counter at Kelley’s Market
Expect to greet customers warmly, operate the cash register, and use the point-of-sale system to process purchases and refunds, keeping cash handling accurate and smooth. You’ll be ready with product knowledge to answer questions about items, prices, and promotions while guiding shoppers through the store aisles to find what they need.
Stocking and merchandising will be part of your routine, including keeping shelves, coolers, freezers, and displays neatly arranged. You’ll also take care of cleaning tasks across the sales floor, restrooms, and exterior areas, including fuel pumps or a car wash where applicable, and you’ll help maintain the Kelley’s Café food and beverage area following food safety procedures.
Supporting the team means taking care of shift paperwork, assisting with cash and safe reconciliation, and following safety and cash-handling procedures. You’ll communicate customer concerns, equipment issues, and other matters to store leadership, collaborating with your teammates to ensure daily operations run smoothly from open to close.
