Accor is seeking a Revenue Manager for Sofitel Dubai Downtown, a luxury 5-star hotel nestled in Downtown Dubai. The property sits near The Dubai Mall and sits just about 10 minutes from City Walk, combining French elegance with contemporary luxury across its 31 floors. The team operates on site in Dubai, delivering a premium guest experience in a setting that appeals to guests and colleagues who value precision and style.

In this role, you’ll drive topline revenue through data-supported forecasting, pricing strategies, and demand optimization. You’ll oversee revenue analytics across all segments and distribution channels while also managing the Reservations function to ensure accurate inventory, strong conversion, and alignment with the broader revenue plan. It’s a hands-on position that combines analytical rigor with leadership responsibilities in a luxury hotel environment.

This onsite, full-time opportunity is well suited to someone who blends numbers with hospitality know-how, can lead a Reservations team, and wants to shape how a premier property competes in a crowded market.

Day-to-day rhythm in revenue management

Day to day, you’ll balance pricing across market segments and distribution channels, keeping inventory aligned across branded websites, third-party sites, TARS, and the GDS. You’ll ensure pricing decisions follow Sofitel’s Rational Pricing approach and the Best Rate Guarantee, translating market signals into concrete moves that protect asset strength and market share.

You’ll also oversee the Reservations operation on a daily basis, coaching the team to maximize conversion and service quality. That means setting and tracking key metrics like conversion rate, call handling time, and abandonment rate, and making sure reservations processes align with revenue-management policies.

Monitoring booking patterns and booking windows will be part of your routine, allowing you to adjust selling strategies and keep the property competitive while maintaining a seamless guest experience from inquiry through to arrival.

The essentials we’re looking for

These are the baseline qualifications you should meet:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • Five-plus years of experience in Revenue Management or Revenue Analysis
  • Prior experience managing or overseeing Reservations is highly preferred
  • A strong understanding of hotel distribution and pricing strategies
  • Demonstrated leadership and the ability to manage a team
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills

Nice-to-haves

Beyond the essentials, no further qualifications are listed in the description.

What to spotlight in your application

Lead with your revenue-management achievements, especially examples where you shaped pricing, forecasting, and channel mix across multiple outlets and channels. Since reservations oversight is valued, showcase any instances where you guided a Reservations team to improve conversions or service quality.

Provide concrete stories that prove you can optimize pricing and inventory across channels such as branded websites, third-party sites, TARS, and the GDS, while staying aligned with Best Rate Guarantee and Rational Pricing policies. Highlight leadership experiences where you trained and developed a team to hit ambitious goals.

Be ready to discuss how you monitor booking patterns and windows, and describe how you would translate data into selling strategies. If you’ve built or led a training program for Reservations, outline the approach and the outcomes you achieved.

As you prepare, think about a clear question you’ll ask about the role’s collaboration between the revenue team and Reservations, for example which KPIs matter most right now and how BRG and pricing policies guide daily decisions. This shows you’ve thought about the practical side of the role and how success is measured in this hotel.
