Capgemini is seeking a SAC Financial Planning SME for a full‑time onsite role in Melbourne. Your Role

 

As a SAC Financial Planning Consultant, you will:

  • Lead the discovery, design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Partner closely with Finance, FP&A, Accounting, and Business stakeholders to deliver integrated planning capabilities that improve financial visibility, forecasting accuracy, and decision-making. This role requires deep expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud Planning, financial modelling, business process transformation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Combine strong financial planning knowledge with hands-on SAC technical expertise (including building CDS views, Finance modelling, data extraction from both SAP and non-SAP solutions) and have experience delivering large-scale planning and performance management solutions.
  • Be part of an onshore team, working with client teams and our offshore teams as part of an SAP implementation.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, managing relationships throughout implementation and technical build processes.
  • Contribute from a thought leadership perspective to help grow our clients but also our internal practice from a finance perspective, SAP perspective (including the future roadmap) and the industry practices you’ve come across.

Your Profile

  • 7+ years of experience delivering Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), financial planning, or FP&A solutions.
  • 4+ years of hands-on SAP Analytics Cloud Planning experience.
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end SAC Planning implementations.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, financial analysis, workforce and capital planning
  • Experience integrating SAC Planning with SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP Datasphere and non-SAP financial systems.
  • Experience working with senior finance stakeholders and executive leadership teams.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
  • SAP Analytics Cloud Planning certification is highly desirable.

Remuneration for this role is structured in accordance with this award, with classification level and salary determined based on the successful candidate's experience and qualifications.
