To succeed you need solid WHS experience, strong business and stakeholder management, knowledge of workers compensation and RTW, and excellent communication with a track record delivering training; automotive dealership experience is desirable. The opportunity:

As a HSE Business Partner (Vic.) you will be responsible for partnering and engaging with stakeholders and working within a team of HSE Business Partners to drive a strong safety culture and ensure WHS compliance across Eagers Automotive Melbourne Metro locations .


As Health, Safety Environment Partner you will;

  • Provide support on all WHS matters and functions in a proactive and service focussed matter
  • Roll out WHS policies, procedures, SWPs, legislative updates and training as required for the region.
  • Positively promote a culture with operational leaders, that aspires to zero harm
  • Review and follow up to ensure WHS induction and training compliance requirements are met across your network of responsible locations.
  • Act as the Administrator for WHS systems including the Safety management System and the leaning management system while ensuring the compliance and appropriateness of all materials stored on these platforms.

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in Workplace Health & Safety
  • Strong business acumen and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Strong WHS and Workers Compensation knowledge and understanding including experience in RTW
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver training initiatives on WH&S
  • An understanding of automotive and heavy vehicle dealership operations is desirable.
