Bayer's Sales Agronomist III in Michigan is a residence-based field role, serving as the local expert for Bayer Crop Science products and guiding growers to in-season success. You’ll co-develop a portfolio business plan with Field Sales Representatives for about 100 high-growth growers across Eastern, Central, or Western Michigan, drive grower demand generation, deliver whole-farm agronomic advice, run Bayer portfolio trials, and support seasonal milestones from crop planning to harvest while managing an SG&A budget and traveling roughly 60 percent. Success hinges on agile communication, strategic thinking, data-driven decision making, and strong consultative sales. Note: driving may be required under DOT/FMCSA guidelines. Preferred: bachelor’s in agriculture and 8+ years of relevant experience. You are responsible for fostering business growth by establishing new relationships, identifying pain points, and providing agronomic-driven advice and insights throughout the season. Your expertise will be pivotal in expanding Bayer's market share and ensuring the seamless execution of agronomic strategies from planning to harvest.
