BMW Group Financial Services is offering a well-rounded internship with the focus on Sales and Commercial Finance while working collaboratively with all Financial Services functional areas to ensure performance that permeates from headquarter down to each single sales outlet within Canada. This role is a part of an interdisciplinary team to both run and develop the Sales and Commercial Finance business line within a traditional automotive OEM for premium cars.

 

What awaits you?

  • Gain hands-on experience by working in an interdisciplinary team that collaborates with sales, commercial finance, business intelligence and operations who are willing to share knowledge and expertise with you.
  • Working closely to assist with gathering, organizing and visualizing data from multiple sources to communicate updates (in the appropriate format) and results to optimize products, programs and strategies.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand market trends, competitive intelligence, and the development of “key performance indicator” oriented / data-based reports and analysis for all levels of management to enhance visibility, awareness and decision making for the Sales and Commercial Finance business lines.
  • Assisting in the preparation, review and presentation of reporting and processing to desired output format for regular updates, communications, and analysis with senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Driving automation of reports and ensuring availability of accurate data in dashboards, leveraging AI, RPA, and Agentic solutions (where possible / feasible) to improve efficiency, enhance automation, and support operational excellence.
  • Participating with the vendors and cross boarder functional committee members to deliver Retailer events focused on collaboration, value-added content and relationships.
  • Coordinating and documenting insights from regular internal meetings and workshops to allow for cross functional collaboration, business development and strategic alignment.
  • Develop strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment with the guidance of experienced professionals.

 

What should you bring along?

  • Current student or recent graduate in Business Administration, Master of Business Administration or a comparable course of studies.
  • Minimum one-year experience within Sales, Marketing, Business Development or IT. Relevant analytics and/or reporting related working experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge in MS Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint.
  • Knowledge in data visualization programs like Tableau.
  • Analytical thinking and knowledge in analyzing and visualizing data.
  • Fast learner and willingness to work with various team related topics.
  • Teamwork and communication skills.
  • Openness, motivation and hands-on mentality.

Compensation

The compensation range for this role is $47,000 - $49,000, with variations based on factors like experience, education and skills. Experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
