Sales Assistant
MulberryMulberry, the Somerset-born British lifestyle brand that started in 1971, is inviting a new Experience Expert to join its Bath shop team. The role is in-store, onsite in Bath, and the team is looking for someone who can help customers feel welcome and inspired. Mulberry emphasises sustainability and purpose, and in 2024 the company achieved B Corp Certification as part of its ongoing commitment to people and the planet. If you value honesty, energy, and a sense of community, this could be a good fit.
In Mulberry’s stores, Sales Assistants are known as Experience Experts. Your job is to craft truly memorable moments for every customer by pairing product knowledge with storytelling, tailoring each interaction to build lasting relationships. The team embraces a spirit of learning and growth, and you’ll be encouraged to contribute ideas as Mulberry pursues its Back to the Mulberry Spirit strategy.
This is a 21-hour-per-week role that requires weekend availability, in Bath, England. It’s a chance to bring fashion to life for shoppers, using Mulberry’s heritage and design language to spark excitement and make shopping feel special.
A day in the life in Bath
On the floor you’ll welcome customers and help them discover pieces that fit their style, while keeping the mood lively and collaborative for colleagues too. You’ll weave product knowledge into conversations, crafting personalised experiences that feel natural rather than scripted, and you’ll use in-store tools to nurture relationships with customers over time. You’ll also play a part in maintaining the store’s standards and atmosphere, ensuring every guest leaves with a positive impression and a clear sense of Mulberry’s story.
Across shifts you’ll stay curious about the business, share ideas that could improve the customer journey, and strive to balance selling with service. Your approach will reflect Mulberry’s values, being honest, dynamic, and community spirited, and you’ll help create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to explore fashion and art in the Mulberry context.
