This role is a great fit for someone who loves helping customers find the right wellness solutions and who thrives in a shopping environment that emphasises personalised service. The company promotes a culture of inclusivity and a focus on empowering people to Live Well, making this a solid fit for those who want to make a positive impact in-store every day.

The storefront environment is built around a customer-first approach, with teams dedicated to delivering meaningful product recommendations and a welcoming experience for every guest. Day-to-day rhythm on the shop floor

On the floor, you’ll be the first to greet customers and will guide them toward products that match their needs and goals. You’ll combine your product knowledge with genuine conversations to recommend solutions and close sales, while also supporting the store’s overall performance. When customer service isn’t the current focus, you’ll stay busy restocking, keeping displays fresh, processing online orders, and keeping the space clean and inviting. In this role you’ll carry the GNC brand forward by sharing the Live Well message in every interaction.

Advice for applicants

Lead your resume with customer-facing experience that shows you greet shoppers, assess their needs, and guide purchases, especially where you’ve met or exceeded sales or productivity goals.

Demonstrate you can build strong product knowledge by citing examples of staying current with nutrition, wellness, and fitness news, and by showing how you translate that knowledge into helpful recommendations for customers.

Be ready to discuss your availability for varied hours, including mornings or nights to open or close, as well as weekends and holidays. You’ll also want to mention any experience with opening/closing procedures, cash handling, inventory counting, and maintaining store appearance.

Ask about how the Live Well messaging is applied day to day and what kind of incentives exist for sales performance. A thoughtful question about incentives shows you’re focused on how your effort translates into rewards and how success is measured for store staff.
