Tips for applicants

Lead your resume with the parts of your background that match this job: hands-on customer service, experience handling sales transactions, and knowledge of products similar to boots and western wear, plus any merchandising or stock-replenishment duties you’ve done.

When you describe your must-have skills, back them with concrete examples that demonstrate how you improved metrics or supported a team, such as increases in units per transaction or customer information capture, if you’ve got numbers, share them.

Be ready to discuss real store scenarios in interviews, like how you’d uphold merchandising standards, participate in floor moves, or support promotions while keeping shelves stocked and displays appealing.

Consider asking about peak seasonal periods, how SPIFF incentives are structured, and opportunities for advancement given the company’s rapid store expansion, plus how your schedule could flex around busy times and holidays.
