A day on the boots floor
Seasonal Sales Partners foster a service-first selling environment, aiming to surpass expectations and strengthen customer relationships over time. They become knowledgeable about product categories and are able to translate features and benefits into benefits for the customer, especially when promotions are active. The role involves keeping the floor looking inviting, supporting displays and store upkeep, and assisting with stock handling and replenishment as needed while staying aligned with current promotions. Transactions at the POS are handled accurately and efficiently, with attention to cash and media accountability, and there’s ongoing collaboration with the leadership team to identify ways to sharpen skills and improve metrics. Compliance with local, state and federal laws, as well as company policies, is part of the daily routine, and reliability in attendance and appearance is expected. Other duties may be assigned by management as needed.

Compensation varies by geography, skills, experience, and tenure. Boot Barn hires Seasonal Partners on a temporary basis using business needs; seasonal employment begins when a Partner is hired and ends on the date set by management, with no guarantee of continued employment. The workspace is designed to be clean, orderly, properly lighted and ventilated, with moderate noise levels. The physical demands include standing, walking and squatting for much of the shift, lifting up to 40 pounds, and the ability to read, count and write to complete documentation and reports. Visual and sensory demands include the ability to see, hear and speak well, along with close, distance, peripheral vision and depth perception.
