Sales Director - Data Licensing
XperiXperi is a publicly traded technology company shaping the future of entertainment with a portfolio that powers experiences in homes, on the go and across intelligent devices. Through TiVo Ads, they connect studios, networks and advertisers with real audiences to boost viewership and engagement across live TV, on demand and streaming. The company is based in San Jose, California and operates across North America, Europe and Asia, with a London-based role that will influence the UK and EU markets as the data licensing business grows.
TiVo Ads is now looking for a Sales Director to lead data licensing in Europe from London, working remotely with a hybrid setup. This role is ideal for someone with a startup mindset who can navigate a shifting CTV and ad tech landscape, articulate a compelling value proposition for data-driven advertising, and build lasting relationships with clients and partners across the UK and beyond.
The data licensing product involves viewership data passively captured from Smart TVs via automatic content recognition to measure linear and streaming tune-in and ad effectiveness. The person who fills this position will help bring this offering to market in the UK, then scale across the UK and EU as the portfolio expands, engaging clients across the advertising and technology ecosystems.
What You’ll Do In TiVo Ads Data Licensing
You will own the go-to-market strategy for the UK data licensing business, driving revenue growth and building a robust sales pipeline in a newly developed team. You’ll identify and pursue new clients while cultivating strong relationships with both direct advertisers and third‑party partners, translating complex TV data concepts into clear business outcomes for customers. You’ll stay on top of industry trends in CTV and ad tech, and you’ll be the face of TiVo Ads at conferences and events to raise visibility and accelerate opportunities.
You’ll work closely with internal colleagues and senior leaders to align on priorities, share best practices, and push progress across the organization. Expect to communicate regularly with stakeholders to fast-track decisions and keep campaigns on track, while maintaining a pragmatic, collaborative approach that keeps the customer at the center of strategy. As the portfolio grows, you’ll help build a culture of knowledge sharing that elevates the team’s performance and credibility.
