Job Description

Job Opportunity

  • Senior Sales Manager role responsible for driving growth across Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands, and Papua New Guinea.
  • Opportunity to lead regional sales strategy, expand market presence, and support consistent revenue delivery.
  • Key position working closely with the ANZ Head of Sales in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

What you will be doing

  • Deliver and exceed bookings, revenue, and profit targets across assigned markets
  • Take full ownership of the New Zealand market and drive its growth
  • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities alongside managing existing accounts
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from pipeline creation through to order fulfilment
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including government stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline and reporting using CRM and internal systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Programmes, Service, Finance, and Legal
  • Utilise SAP for quotations, pipeline tracking, and order processing
  • Participate in sales reviews and operational meetings
  • Ensure timely responses to customer enquiries and maintain strong ongoing relationships
  • Travel across Australia and New Zealand as required

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

  • 7–12 years of experience in B2B or B2G sales within complex environments
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end sales cycles and stakeholder management
  • Proven track record managing large-scale accounts, including government clients
  • Demonstrated success in new business development (approx. 40% focus)
  • Experience in product-led industries such as industrial, equipment, or manufacturing sectors
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales pipeline management tools
  • Strong commercial acumen with ability to meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly professional and adaptable across diverse customer segments
  • Willingness to travel across ANZ region

Nice to have:

  • Experience working across multi-country or regional sales territories
  • Familiarity with SAP for sales and order processing
  • Exposure to complex tendering or government procurement processes
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration experience within global organisations
