What You'll Do:

 

Reporting to the Branch Manager, this role is responsible for providing sales and operational support, ensuring all orders are received and dispatched safely and on time. Tasks are varied and will include:

 

  • Management of stock, pick and pack orders
  • Assisting customer with pricing and product enquiries and processing customer sales
  • Providing advice and support to customers
  • Some on-farm deliveries
  • Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Forklift operation
  • Goods receipt and dispatch
  • Inventory control
  • Maintaining safety processes
  • Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching and unpacking orders and deliveries
  • Supporting general branch operations and administration activities

What You'll Bring:

 

To be successful in this role, you'll have previous experience in a team support role within a busy environment and a genuine passion for Australian farming and agriculture. This role would suit someone who enjoys working with customers, has a willingness to learn, and is interested in developing a long-term career in agribusiness or agronomy. In addition, you will demonstrate:

 

  • A proactive approach to work and strong organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Effective verbal communication skills and the ability to build strong, long-term customer relationships
  • An eagerness to learn about agricultural products, farming systems and customer solutions
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to contribute as part of a team
  • Available to work some Saturday mornings on a rotating roster
  • Full driver's licence essential
  • Forklift licence advantageous
