The team across Australia and New Zealand shares stories, learns together, and uses training and incentives to keep the culture inclusive. Being part of Lipton Teas and Infusions, the world’s largest tea business, opens doors to global connections and programs while keeping the local, in-store experience front and centre. T2 is proud to be B Corp certified, reflecting its commitment to social and environmental standards.

Today, this role sits within that ethos of warmth, learning, and opportunity, and is designed to suit someone who wants to bring energy and care to every customer interaction in a busy retail environment.

Tips to help your application stand out

Lead with a customer-facing achievement on your resume, especially any time you helped customers find the right product or made their experience easier in a busy store. If you have tea or beverage service experience, highlight it near the top so the reader sees your relevant background fast.

When you describe your must-have strengths, back them up with concrete examples: how you stayed patient with a difficult customer, or how you kept shelves tidy and stock levels accurate during a rush, and how you learned something new quickly. If you’ve worked in fast-paced environments before, mention the metrics or outcomes that show you thrived there and how you applied those lessons to improve service or efficiency.

For interviews, be ready to discuss how you would handle peak periods, balance customer care with stock duties, and follow safety policies. You may be asked about your product knowledge or how you’d approach learning about tea basics and brewing methods, so have a couple of quick tea recommendations ready and be honest about what you’re excited to learn.

Ask a thoughtful question about the role's training and product knowledge development, such as how the team builds tea expertise for seasonal staff, and what a successful season looks like from a learning and guest experience perspective.
