At Foodstuffs, We're looking for a curious, proactive and collaborative Security Operations Analyst to join our Security team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced security professionals, helping to safeguard critical systems and services while developing your technical expertise across threat intelligence, vulnerability management, incident response and cloud security.

What you’ll do 

As a Security Operations Analyst, you'll play a key role in protecting our technology landscape by:

  • Monitoring the security environment through daily security checks, threat intelligence gathering and vulnerability analysis.
  • Researching emerging threats and working with technology teams to assess potential impacts across the organisation.
  • Supporting security incident response activities, contributing to investigations and driving continuous improvements to incident management processes.
  • Assisting with the development and maintenance of security policies, standards, procedures and guidelines.
  • Identifying and remediating gaps in security monitoring, alerting and audit capabilities.
  • Supporting the delivery of secure technology services operating in a 24x7 environment.
  • Working closely with the Security, Risk and Digital Operations Manager on security initiatives and operational activities.

He kōrero mōu - About you      

  • A solid understanding of IT infrastructure, systems or software development with an interest in information security.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST and PCI DSS.
  • An understanding of cloud technologies and a desire to continue building your cloud security capability.
  • Experience in an IT support, infrastructure, systems administration
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and genuine curiosity to learn new technologies and security practices.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple technology teams.
