Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring CCTV systems and responding to alarms and incidents

• Controlling site access, verifying identification, and issuing access passes

• Managing unauthorised access and potential security breaches

• Providing professional, courteous, and timely assistance to visitors and staff

• Working a rotating roster across multiple shifts

About You

This role is ideal for someone looking to move beyond basic guarding duties and build a long-term career in security. You will have:

• A current ACT Security Licence (or eligibility for interstate transfer)

• Current NV1 clearance or willingness to obtain one

• Australian citizenship (mandatory for security clearance)

• Intermediate to advanced IT skills

• Strong observational and surveillance abilities

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

• A team-focused attitude and willingness to support colleagues during busy periods
