Self-Checkout Team Member is a part-time on-site role at The Warehouse, Lunn Ave, Auckland, with Tuesday to Saturday, 4:00pm to 8:00pm shifts. You’ll be the friendly, efficient face guiding customers through self-checkouts, packing bags, and moving quickly between tills to keep lines short. You’ll also help the loss prevention team and ensure the area is tidy and ready. Experience in customer service helps but isn’t essential; what matters most is clear communication, a positive, learn-and-grow mindset, and the stamina to stand for long periods. Hours of work:
Often serving as the last point of contact, you'll be helping our customers through our self checkouts. Whether it providing them with speedy service or helping them pack their bags. You'll have the patience and resilience to handle even the most challenging situations easily, ensuring every customer leaves with a smile. As a mobile member of the team, you'll be quick on your feet, guiding customers to the next available checkout and responding to their needs with precision and efficiency.
You'll also be an integral part in assisting our loss prevention team, bringing concerns to their attention and ensuring the area is always customer-ready, with bags stocked and areas tidy.

Having experience in a customer-facing role, such as retail or hospitality, would be beneficial, but it's not essential. Good communication skills are essential, and a positive attitude with a willingness to learn is a must. Additionally, you should be comfortable standing for long periods.
