Join The Warehouse Upper Hutt as a part-time Self Checkout Team Member, Sundays and Mondays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. You’ll be the last point of contact at self checkouts, delivering fast service, helping customers pack, and guiding them to the next checkout. As a mobile team member you’ll move quickly to assist and support the loss prevention team to keep areas tidy. Job Description

Te kaupapa o te tūranga - The purpose of the role. 

Hours of work:

• Sunday - Monday 8:00am - 12:00pm

Often serving as the last point of contact, you'll be helping our customers through our self checkouts. Whether it providing them with speedy service or helping them pack their bags. You'll have the patience and resilience to handle even the most challenging situations easily, ensuring every customer leaves with a smile. As a mobile member of the team, you'll be quick on your feet, guiding customers to the next available checkout and responding to their needs with precision and efficiency.

You'll also be an integral part in assisting our loss prevention team, bringing concerns to their attention and ensuring the area is always customer-ready, with bags stocked and areas tidy.

Qualifications

He kōrero mōu ake - About you

Having experience in a customer-facing role, such as retail or hospitality, would be beneficial, but it's not essential. Good communication skills are essential, and a positive attitude with a willingness to learn is a must. Additionally, you should be comfortable standing for long periods.
