Tips to help you stand out for this role
Put the must-have credentials up front on your resume. Lead with your degree and highlight the full ten years of admin experience in oil and gas or petrochemical projects, calling out the five years you’ve spent working in the GCC and any ADNOC project involvement or offshore work.
Show concrete proof of the must-have skills. Include a line or two about coordinating staff movements between HQ, site and home country, managing travel and accommodation, controlling admin costs, and supporting payroll inputs with HR for timesheet validation.
Be ready to talk through real examples during interviews. Prepare to discuss specific offshore and ADNOC project tasks you’ve managed, how you maintained confidential records, and how you aligned admin processes with client procedures and site rules, including audits you supported.
Ask a targeted question that leans on the details provided. For instance, you could ask how the team collaborates with Client audits and what success looks like when coordinating administrative support across client and contractor sites.
