OceanaGold seeks a Senior Advisor Environment for a 2-year fixed term at Macraes, Otago, NZ. This Macraes based role coordinates environmental support and ensures compliance with laws, consent conditions and company standards, while advising projects. Key duties include regulatory monitoring and reporting, leading a team, liaising with auditors and legal advisors, supporting consent applications, addressing non compliances, and managing covenants and training. Requirements: tertiary qualification in Environmental or Earth Sciences, at least 5 years post graduate experience with 3 in regulatory monitoring, mining experience preferred, Lead Auditor an advantage, valid driver licence with 4WD preference. The Senior Advisor – Environment is responsible for coordinating and providing functional environmental support to the Macraes Operation. This role ensures compliance with statutory acts, regulations, consent conditions and company environmental standards. The Senior Advisor - Environment is to provide environmental, site and consent knowledge to relevant projects and Exploration.
