The Senior Analyst, POC Marketing role falls within Global Merchant Services (GMS), part of the GMNS Organization, which is the merchant network at American Express that manages the relationships with the millions of merchants around the world that accept American Express Cards. GMS serves as a merchant acquirer, payments processor and marketing partner for merchants of all sizes, including small, regional, national and global businesses.
Global Merchant Services (GMS) Marketing & Analytics is dedicated to bringing buyers and sellers together and transforming how American Express is welcomed. GMS Marketing & Analytics is responsible for partnering with GMS markets to drive profitable growth, accelerate Merchant acceptance and enhance the value of Amex acceptance to Merchants and Card Members at scale. We focus on enhancing our relationships with millions of Merchants of all shapes and sizes, and our geographic purview includes many commerce hubs across the globe including the U.S, Canada, Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.
The Role
As the Snr Analyst, POC Marketing, you will be responsible for the end-to-end project management and marketing execution of key merchant value and perceptions of coverage programs. Examples of such programs include, but are not limited to Merchant agnostic campaigns such as Grocery, Ecommerce, Shop Small (both Issuer specific as well as National), Dining, Transit, Inbound etc. This role also involves leading and managing multiple external contractual partnerships to drive POC as well as spend activation. Examples of such external partnerships include Tourism Boards, Associations, Chamber of Commerce and Business Improvement Areas (BIAs). These are typically multi-year partnerships involving year round activation, initiatives and campaigns. Strong partnership skills, attention to details, flawless execution and strong project management skills are critical for the role.

Hiring Range: $68,000 to $102,000 annually + bonus + benefits
