GYG is building a creative team that punches well above its weight. The Senior Art Director is the visual half of the ideation engine, partnering with the Senior Copywriter to develop campaign concepts that are visually distinctive, culturally switched-on, and unmistakably GYG. You'll shape what the brand looks like on billboards, screens, and in feeds.
What You'll Do
- Develop visual concepts and art direction for campaigns from brief through to delivery
- Partner directly with the Senior Copywriter to develop integrated concepts not just decorated copy
- Translate strategic and marketing briefs into visually distinctive campaign ideas that move the needle
- Build and maintain the visual language of GYG across film, print, OOH, digital, and in-restaurant
- Attend and direct shoots (stills and motion) alongside production leads, ensuring creative intent survives execution
- Provide on-set art direction across talent, food, props, lighting, and composition
- Provide visual direction to the design team across campaign, internal, and international workstreams
- Champion craft, typography, and image-making standards across all output
- Present concepts and rationale to senior stakeholders with confidence and clarity
What You'll Bring
- 6–8+ years as an Art Director in a creative agency or in-house team
- Portfolio of integrated campaign work with a clear visual point of view
- On-set experience directing photographers, DOPs, stylists, and crew
- Expert knowledge of design principles, typography, colour, and composition
- Strong conceptual partnership skills, comfortable working brief-to-execution with a writer
- Food, FMCG, or QSR experience an advantage
- A solution-oriented mindset, calm under shoot-day pressure
