We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Business Analysis role.  

 

We are delivering a major, multi‑year transformation that will transition outsourced administration and servicing back into Royal London, bringing critical operations, data, people, and technology in‑house. The programme will deliver the transfer of colleagues and operational capability, the migration of policies to our Royal London strategic target platforms, and the transition of other platforms, supporting technologies including telephony, workflow and CRM solutions. We’re looking for candidates with proven experience in large‑scale transitions or complex change environments—candidates who can navigate operational, technical and people‑centric change to ensure a smooth, well‑governed and high‑quality transition.

About the role 

 

  • Takes ownership of medium to more complex (large) change initiatives, including defining scope, occasionally needing guidance on more complex aspects. 
  • Effectively collaborates and communicates with stakeholders and the team proactively driving engagement and discussions. 
  • Comfortable in defining scope, priorities, and benefits with stakeholders, with limited support, ensuring alignment and understanding. 
  • Proficient in workshop facilitation, requirements gathering, NFR’s, current and ‘to be state analysis.
  • Thoroughly analyses processes and data, presenting well-considered options for consideration. 
  • Analysis outputs well documented ensuring source traceability and adherence to specified standards and delivered within agreed timescales. 
  • Defines user acceptance criteria. 
  • Has an excellent working knowledge and understanding of the BA toolkit. 
  • Works independently, following BA processes and using the BA toolkit effectively. 
  • Seeks out help and guidance from other business analysts when needed. 
  • Peer review feedback reflected in all outputs and feedback required is taken on board. 
  • Undertake peer review checks on other Analyst’s work.  
  • Maintains and updates knowledge and skills within their area of specialism using the range of resources available.  
  • Inputs into best practice evolution.

  • You’re an experienced BA and can work independently and able to coach others where necessary 
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence. 
  • Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands. 
  • Ability to work in fast paced environments and have a delivery focused mindset at all times.  
  • Ability to support others with strong communication and influencing skills.  
  • Excellent data analysis skills
  • Migrations experience is an advantage
