THE WORK:
Ripple is looking for a versatile and detail-oriented Web Designer to help bring our digital experiences to life across Ripple.com, XRPL.org, and other key web platforms. As a core member of the Web Team, you’ll be responsible for translating strategy and wireframes into polished, responsive, and accessible designs that are visually engaging and aligned with Ripple’s brand standards.
You’ll collaborate closely with designers, developers, marketers, and product stakeholders to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, iterative environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong UI skills, a keen focus on building systems, and a passion for web development at scale.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Design responsive, brand-aligned web pages and digital experiences for Ripple.com, XRPL.org, and other related platforms.
- Translate UX wireframes and content plans into clear, visually compelling layouts and interactions.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs, with attention to performance and accessibility.
- Contribute to and help maintain design systems by creating consistent, reusable components.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and content teams to ensure web design aligns with business objectives and communicates clearly.
- Support brand consistency across all digital surfaces, while looking for opportunities to modernize and improve.
- Assist with asset production, handoffs, QA reviews, and design updates as needed.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- 4-5 years of experience in web or digital design, with a portfolio showcasing UI work, responsive layouts, and design system usage.
- Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with component-based design workflows.
- A solid understanding of layout, typography, spacing, color, and hierarchy.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills—able to work creatively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail, organized, and comfortable balancing multiple tasks and feedback cycles.
- Knowledge of basic web principles such as HTML, CSS, accessibility, and performance (coding skills not required but useful). integral to our culture, and we provide managers and teams with the flexibility to decide which 10+ days a month they come into the office
For positions that will be based in CA, the annual salary range for this position is below. Actual salaries may vary based on numerous factors including, among other things, an individual applicant’s experience and qualifications for the position. This range does not include equity or additional compensation, such as bonuses or commissions. CA Annual Base Salary Range
$112,000—$125,000 USD
