This onsite Regina role requires a P.Eng, six plus years in nuclear engineering, strong design, licensing, construction and project management skills, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams while meeting CSA N286-12 and CNSC requirements and promoting safety. You will prepare design documents, PSAR input, manage contracts, and monitor cost and schedule while guiding consultants and staff. JOB SUMMARY:
The Nuclear Engineering, Construction & Project Delivery unit is seeking a Senior Engineer Nuclear Engineering, Construction & Project Delivery.
This role involves leadership and accountabilities critical to the site evaluation, licensing, construction, and delivery of SaskPower’s BWRX-300 Small Modular Reactor nuclear project. This position ensures compliance with nuclear industry best practices and the requirements of the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission.
As a member of SaskPower’s management team, this position is responsible for assisting with and/or preparing technical studies, business cases, designs, specifications, tender evaluations, and equipment and construction drawings. This position will prepare project plans, costs, and schedules and provide contract management and project coordination and delivery services, ensuring alignment with departmental and corporate strategic goals and objectives.
