Senior Environmental Scientist – Auckland or Hamilton – Contaminated Land
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Environmental Scientist to join our Contaminated Land Management team. In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality consultancy services across a range of complex and impactful projects, while helping to grow our capability and strengthen client relationships locally and nationally.
About you:
- Around 8–10+ years’ experience in contaminated land management or a related discipline
- Strong technical capability across site investigations, remediation, and contaminated land assessment
- Proven experience managing projects, including scope, financials, timelines, and client outcomes
- A collaborative, client-focused approach, with the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Geology, Engineering Geology, Environmental Science, or similar)
- Professional accreditation (such as CEnvP) or working towards it
- Commercial awareness, with the ability to identify opportunities and contribute to business growth
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to produce clear technical reports and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
