Qantas is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Centre of Financial Excellence and support the Engineering Business Unit with financial planning, forecasting, analysis and reporting, including monthly management reporting, consolidation and governance across the Group. The Centre of Financial Excellence (COFE) is a service responsible for ensuring financial processes and reporting are standardised, controlled and efficiently executed across the Group. As part of COFE as a Senior Financial Analyst, you will support the Engineering Business Unit and manage financial planning, forecasting, analysis and reporting activities which support decision making. This role will collaborate with the business to produce monthly management reporting for actuals and forecast, develop financial plans and undertake analysis and research activities for continuous improvement initiatives.
In this role, you will work on the consolidation, validation and reporting on periodic budgets and statutory reporting processes whilst ensuring a sound financial control and governance framework is maintained.
