Engeny, part of Egis Group, is seeking a Senior Flooding & Stormwater Engineer to join the Brisbane team full time onsite. You’ll work in a specialist Flooding team delivering Water Sensitive Urban Design solutions, hydrological investigations and 1D/2D flood modelling for a diverse portfolio. Responsibilities include acting as a technical expert, supporting business development, conducting risk assessments and mentoring junior engineers while developing project methodologies. Ideal candidates have 6+ years in consultancy, a Civil or Environmental degree, CPENG and/or RPEQ preferred, and solid experience with Stormwater Management Plans, DA processes and regulatory standards. As a Senior Flooding & Stormwater Engineer, your impact will be within the Stormwater and Flooding team. The team is a specialist group focusing on delivering solutions in the areas of Water Sensitive Urban Design (constructed waterbodies, bioretention, proprietary water quality devices etc.), hydrological investigations, 1D hydraulic modelling and 2D regional flood modelling. Ideally, you will have a minimum of 6+ years’ professional experience with demonstrated technical expertise in flooding and stormwater engineering within a consultancy environment.
