Senior Implementation Consultant
ADPWorkForce Software, an ADP company, is seeking a Senior Implementation Consultant to join its onsite team in North Sydney, AU. This role sits at the intersection of client success and technology, guiding organizations through complex WorkForce Software deployments and go-live activities. If you enjoy translating business needs into practical software configurations and working directly with customers, you could be a strong match.
ADP operates globally as a cloud-based provider of human capital management solutions, uniting HR, payroll, talent, time, tax and benefits administration. WorkForce Software is part of the ADP family, bringing enterprise-grade workforce management capabilities to a wide range of clients. The firm looks for professionals who can lead with clarity, collaborate across teams, and keep customers moving toward successful implementations from discovery to rollout.
The posting targets candidates who thrive in a client-facing setting, are comfortable taking ownership of engagements, and enjoy mentoring teammates as projects progress.
Guiding implementations from discovery to go-live
In this role you’ll translate customer needs into concrete project artifacts, from business requirements and use cases to process diagrams, and you’ll run workshops either on site or remotely to show best practices during implementation. You’ll educate customers on how to apply the WorkForce Software solution effectively and you’ll help teams test thoroughly, migrate data, and configure the system for production use. The responsibilities span coordinating multiple workstreams, providing timely progress updates to stakeholders, and working with internal groups to ensure a smooth delivery across all project phases.
You'll lead rollout and go-live activities, oversee data migration and system setup, and ensure the project stays on schedule and within scope. You’ll maintain documentation standards, monitor project profitability through accurate time tracking, and escalate issues as needed. Beyond delivery, you’ll mentor other team members, participate in process improvement initiatives, and help set strategic directions for how projects are executed.
As you grow in the role, you’ll deepen your knowledge of more than one WorkForce Software product and become a subject matter expert in time and attendance, while maintaining a strong focus on customer success and quality deliverables across engagements.

Advice for applicants
Lead your resume with your software implementation experience, especially any 4–6 years delivering projects in a client-facing setting. If you’ve worked on WorkForce Software or other workforce management projects, mention them up front and quantify your impact where possible.
Demonstrate the must-have skills with concrete examples: show real Excel dashboards you built, SQL queries you wrote or helped run, and how you managed a project using both waterfall and agile approaches. Highlight a few projects where you led go-live activities and data migrations.
Be ready to talk through how you’ve mentored teammates, led cross-functional meetings, and kept customers aligned with project milestones. Prepare to discuss how you handle delays, communicate risks, and maintain documentation quality during complex deployments.
Ask a targeted question about the rollout strategy and go-live plan, for example: how they typically sequence data migration, testing, and user training across phases, and what success metrics they use to gauge a rollout’s readiness. A thoughtful question about the team’s go-live criteria shows you’ve thought through practical delivery concerns.
