We have an exciting 12 month fixed-term opportunity for a Senior Insights Analyst to join our team. You’ll be responsible for delivery of remediation cases, providing quality insight, data and technical solutions and providing coaching and oversight of remediation cases to other analysts. You’ll play a key role in providing best practice solutions that enable effective, accurate and timely remediation for customers.
What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this tūranga will complete?
Coach the team on best practice, support workload management and identify areas for processes improvement/develop new approaches as and when necessary.
Investigate and analyse issues to define the impacted customer population, accurately determine the financial impact and utilise the most up to date customer information to aid the end-to-end remediation process.
Ensuring consistent remediation approaches and fair customers outcomes
Identify the underlying issue, translate, document and develop data solutions from business problems.
Provide thought leadership based on data learnings and developments to the wider Customer Remediation Centre of Expertise (CoE).

To be successful in the role we require open communication with the team and with stakeholders, providing valuable insights into current processes. You will also bring a logical mindset and be open to adjusting viewpoints based on feedback. You will bring:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a data role with various database tools such as SAS, Snowflake, DBT or Hadoop and languages such as SQL or Python.
Proven financial services experience, with an emphasis on compliance and products.
Ability to plan, prioritise and manage tasks independently.
Comfort in developing technical solutions to mitigate or remove manual processes.
Ability to understand details relating data challenges, how the solution was developed, and communicating this to senior stakeholders in non-technical and easy to understand language.
Critical thinking skills and an analytical mind, giving you an inclination for problem solving.
