Located in Melbourne or Sydney, the role includes formal consultations, coaching, and becoming a subject matter expert on topics like leases and not‑for‑profit reporting, plus pre‑issuance reviews each period. This role forms part of the national financial reporting team (Department of Professional Practice – DPP), supporting the business and our clients in the application of accounting standards and other financial reporting regulatory requirements. You will work closely with Partners, Managers and other staff members from multiple parts of the business, involvement in 2-3 financial reporting specialist topic areas and helping to work through complex technical accounting issues, review financial statements for disclosure compliance, develop and provide training to teams on new developments and common issues as well as develop publications for internal and external consumption.
