  • Implementing, in coordination with Senior Officer , the marketing plans and proposals for deferent groups
  • Implementing promotional plans for facility staff / customers to guarantee a steady stream of customers especially during off peak periods 
  • Allocating and controlling marketing budget across internal and external sponsorship, profiling and advertising costs
  • Reviewing and approving subordinate budget inquires when required
  • Implementing the marketing and communication strategy to meet academic and clinical objectives Implementing the advertising and media plan
  • Maintains compliance with organization's policies, as well as established practices, protocols, and procedures of the position, department, and applicable professional standards.
  • Maintains knowledge of marketplace issues, industry trends, competitive information, customer expectations, public policy and other market drivers needed to attract the customers and increase revenue.
  • Researches markets and create strategies for expanding in their company’s current markets and for finding new ones.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge capacity requirements and value propositions of services offered within the organization.
  • Represents SEHA as a brand ambassador locally and internationally promoting access to services within SEHA while building new strategic revenue streams for gaps in local and international healthcare markets.
  • Drives for changes in current implemented processes that will improve program implementation and awareness effectiveness.
  • Promotes and builds medical tourism activities for the healthcare facilities while designing processes that continuously increase demand and patient satisfaction.
  • Continuously evaluates revenue performance and identifies ways the organization can expand and grow in revenue.
  • Researches leads, establishing relationships with potential clients, arranging opportunities with related departments such as operations, medical office, IT, marketing etc.
  • Coordinate, motivate and follow up with all stakeholders & resources to ensure project progresses on schedule and the goals and requirements are met.
  • Identify, assess and resolve complex business problems/issues/risks and facilitate issue resolution and risk mitigation.
  • Defines and documents compelling and comprehensive business proposals with program target dates and needed projects with predictions on annual revenue gains.
  • Liaises with content experts, marketing dept. and operations team on program and proposal development.
  • Develops business models and detailed project budgets ensuring new projects are appropriately resourced and cost optimized to meet the projected revenue targets.
  • Develops and manages timelines of multiple projects from planning to implementation and post implementation monitoring, effecting a smooth transition to the teams that will execute new programs or projects.
  • Prepares the needed project information for review, vetting, and final approvals with senior management and relevant stake holders.
  • Attend business planning board approval meetings and provide input for project approval when necessary.
  • Defines the deliverables, resource requirements and work plan for projects, and manages their development and delivery. 
  • Providing analytical and project related support which may include preparation of Request for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Develops content for dynamic presentations in connection with pitches and other new business opportunities.
  • Participates within the contracting process to review related quotes and proposals for prospective clients.
  • Maintain accurate information about business development opportunities in internal databases and provide analysis of proposal development data; maintain accurate and timely electronic files; and ensure that relevant information is accessible to and circulated to the portfolio members.
  • Support development of resources and mentor and train staff on new business best practices, processes, and procedures as needed
  • Overviews the Revenue Development Teams at the facilities and works towards developing the teams to achieve the overall requirements of the role and the targets set annually.
  • Other related responsibilities as assigned by direct manager.
  • Travel as needed to support initiatives and participate in activities.
  • Plan and oversee seminars, events, and other targeted marketing activities.
  • Identifying market needs by conducting market research activities in order to understand customer needs, priorities and aspirations.
  • Managing and overseeing the production of marketing collateral and other communication material for marketing and customer attraction.
  • Coordinating continuous promotional programs, conventions and meetings 
  • Ensuring these events are well attended and organized 
  • Implementing brand positioning, including market activities and forecasting 
  • Maintaining up to date competitor information so as to ensure facility retains its competitive edge in the marketplace 
  • Responsible for coordination of communication programs
  • Communicating the facility brand to UAE audiences to ensure that position and brand strength are understood by all UAE clients/customers/patients
  • Coordinating with media organizations to create awareness about the facility and promote the facility's mission, clinical programs, staff and events.
  • Directing and overseeing all marketing projects and serving as main project manager when required
  • Managing production of facility promotional items and gifts
  • Driving the implementation of the annual calendar of marketing and promotional events and activities
  • Developing ideas and opportunities for feature articles, interviews, presentations, and other public relations activities that promote awareness of facility 
  • Representing facility to the press and public where required (exhibitions, road shows, interview programs) in an ethical manner
  • Identifying and establishing an appropriate community engagement program in the UAE and in key international markets
  • Developing key corporate communications within the UAE (including special events, brochures, website, and other mediums in strategically important areas.
  • Developing and monitoring the delivery of facility paper-based and electronic promotional materials, including the maintenance of the core external web pages for the facility.
  • Directing the overall administration of the marketing department/section and the services provided 
  • Monitoring and evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery process and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Delegating and supervising marketing departmental/sectional work, assigning priorities and evaluating performance of subordinates
  • Recommending necessary training to correct deficiencies for the marketing department/section
  • Providing guidance and interpretation of policy related to marketing/branding

Education:

Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business Management, Healthcare Management or relevant field OR Diploma in relevant field with 3 years of additional experience
Desired: Master's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business Management, Healthcare Management or relevant field


Experience:

Required: 10-12 years of relevant progressive experience in a similar role with 3 years of supervisory experience

Desired: Experience in a large healthcare facility
