The Customer Communications Review (CCR) team supports the Group in meeting its requirements of the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) Enforceable Undertaking, including the development, implementation and embedment of the Further Implementation Plan.
 

Role Purpose

The Senior Manager, Program Governance, Performance & Reporting plays a critical leadership role within the ACMA Central Team, providing end‑to‑end oversight of program governance, performance measurement, and enterprise‑wide reporting for the ACMA EU program. The role ensures disciplined delivery, robust governance, and high‑quality reporting to senior executives, the regulator, and the Independent Consultant.

Your Impact:

Program Management

  • Operate as the central coordination point, ensuring program activities are effectively coordinated and aligned with strategic objectives. the Further Implementation plan (FIP), Program Implementation Plan (PIP), and Enforceable Undertaking.

  • Lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the ACMA EU program’s governance frameworks, guidelines and processes.

  • Administer and maintain Jira boards, workflows, reporting mechanisms and program artefacts to ensure transparent visibility of real‑time visibility of delivery progress across all workstreams.

  • Collaborate with and provide ongoing support to the ACMA Central Team, workstream owners, and stakeholders to ensure tasks and deliverables are clearly assigned, actively monitored via Jira, and completed within agreed timeframes.

  • Monitor the status of the FIP outcomes and PIPactivities, escalate overdue activities, and clarify interdependencies to support timely and effective delivery.

Reporting and Performance

  • Consolidate and refine ACMA EU program reporting through active engagement with the ACMA EU Central,  workstream owners, and stakeholders.

  • Produce high quality reporting for Board, ELT, and other executive and senior management forums, including steering groups and leadership forums, ensuring alignment with governance expectations; and present key insights and progress updates to senior leadership.

  • Leverage Jira data to analyse delivery trends, identify emerging risks, and proactively highlight areas requiring intervention to support informed decision-making.

  • Maintain high standards of data integrity and recording, accuracy, evidence traceability, compliance with Cross-Cutting Initiative principles and audit readiness, for all reporting submitted to the ACMA, Independent Consultant, Board, ELT, and ACMA EU Leadership Team, Group Audit etc.

  • Manage senior stakeholder relationships to maintain transparency on program progress, risks, issues, and dependencies. Support the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across programme governance, reporting and performance.

Governance

  • Support development, uplift and execution of ACMA EU governance frameworks, principles, and processes, ensuring alignment with regulatory and internal obligations.

  • Prepare and quality assure materials for governance forums (e.g., agendas, papers, action logs, meeting packs), ensuring information is clear, accurate and decision ready.

  • Maintain strong evidence management and record keeping aligned with regulatory requirements and audit readiness.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of governance processes, methodologies, and reporting standards, to increase program maturity and effectiveness.

  • Influence senior stakeholders to embed strong governance and accountability practices across business areas.

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Demonstrated expertise in program management principles, governance, and performance reporting, ideally within regulatory or compliance focused environments.

  • Advanced capability in Jira, Confluence, Power BI or similar platforms for tracking, reporting, and insight generation.

  • Strong analytical capability and problem-solving skills and data‑interpretation skills, to identify trends, assessing risks, and generate meaningful insights to inform decision-making.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and influence capabilities, and a commitment to fostering a positive and high-performing culture.

  • Proven ability to drive outcomes across complex organisational environments.

  • Strong leadership grounded in strategic thinking, organisational values, resilience, and adaptability.

  • Experience in risk management, consulting, and program/change delivery within large-scale initiatives, particularly those involving regulatory or compliance obligations.

  • Tertiary qualifications in finance, IT, commerce, law or a related discipline.
