Salary: Clerk Grade 11/12 ($149,739 - $173,174 pa), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

 

Your role

 

The Strategy, Innovation and Sustainability (SI&S) team within Infrastructure and Assets is responsible for building organisational capability and maturity across key functional areas, including infrastructure planning, asset management, sustainability and the transition to net zero, climate risk management, and security.

This is a unique opportunity for a Senior Manager to join this multi-disciplinary team and manage the planning and execution of key strategic projects and initiatives. What you’ll do

 

As part of the Strategy, Innovation and Sustainability team within Infrastructure and assets, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

 

  • Lead, manage and support the end-to-end delivery of complex projects and initiatives that enhance organisational capability and performance across infrastructure, sustainability, climate resilience, and security.
  • Provide strategic insight and analysis on emerging drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities that may impact DCJ's assets and services to support long-term planning and decision-making.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders across DCJ, government agencies, and external partners to foster collaboration and drive integrated outcomes.
  • Deliver high-quality advice and reporting to executive leadership, Ministers, and governance bodies on strategic priorities, risks, and performance across relevant domains.
  • Lead team building and management activities to drive capability uplift, improve performance and ensure achievement of organisational objectives.
  • Represent DCJ in strategic forums, contributing to whole-of-government initiatives, policy development, and cross-sector collaboration.
