In this role, you'll:
You will drive smarter, more efficient ways of working in a fast moving environment to deliver market intelligence and energy data insights to support the Energy Management functions at Transport for NSW.
You’ll transform diverse energy datasets into clear, actionable intelligence, interpret asset performance data, and support key energy initiatives.
This permanent position is located at the Elizabeth Street office in Sydney CBD. The role is governed by our hybrid working model, which forms part of the organisation’s Flexible Working Arrangements and associated procedures. This includes a combination of required onsite attendance at the Elizabeth Street office and approved remote working.

About you
You’re analytical, curious, and have the ability to turn complex information into meaningful recommendations. You have experience built across roles in energy, analytics, utilities, or data driven environments where you have navigated evolving market conditions and have experience working with large, varied datasets to improve outcomes.
• Experience using visualisation tools such as Tableau/Domo/Power BI.
• Proven experience in drawing insights from raw data and influence business decision (able to work with large data sets).
• Strong analytical skills, ideally 5+ years of experience.
• Energy-related experience, either in energy markets or in energy data (e.g. electricity meter interval data) is highly desirable.
