Senior Mental Health Clinician for the Youth Enhanced Services program in Emerald, on the traditional lands of the Gayiri people, full-time or part-time (0.5–1.0 FTE). You will lead evidence‑based therapy for young people aged 12–25, mentor junior clinicians, and help shape service delivery across local hubs. Deliver CBT, DBT, ACT and other modalities, collaborate with families, schools and services, and maintain accurate documentation to meet targets. The ideal candidate has adolescent therapy experience, trauma‑informed practice, training in evidence‑based therapies, tertiary qualifications, and current professional registration. The Youth Enhanced Services (YES) program supports young people aged 12–25 experiencing severe and complex mental health challenges. Delivered through the CCQ Mental Health AOD Hubs, the program offers multidisciplinary care, therapeutic interventions, and community connection to help young people thrive.
Your role, your impact
As a Senior Mental Health Clinician, you’ll lead the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based therapy to young people, while mentoring junior clinicians and contributing to service development. You’ll work closely with families, schools, and local services to create coordinated care plans that make a real difference in young lives. You will work from home, see clients in the community, work from headspace office, or work from MMH office.
