SEEK is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to lead building its GCP capability from the ground up within the Cloud Enablement team, expanding a strong AWS foundation into a trusted multi cloud platform. You’ll design, build and maintain scalable, secure GCP infrastructure with Terraform, own CI/CD pipelines in Buildkite, set standards for security, networking and cost optimization, and mentor others while partnering with product teams. The role spans hands on engineering and strategic platform influence, with on call duties and impact at scale. The team
As a part of the Cloud Enablement team, we address common cloud engineering challenges enabling teams to innovate and deliver solutions at speed and scale.
You will do plenty of hands-on coding and also have opportunities to help shape broader patterns and practices through the tools and platforms we design and implement across SEEK.
The team consists of Platform Engineers, Software Engineers and FinOps analysts who play an important role to keep our cloud platform stable, secure and optimised. We provide the building blocks to solve problems once for SEEK. We provide guidance to make it easier for teams to use cloud technology, supporting faster, more independent delivery and business transformation. The Senior Platform Engineer reports to the Engineering Manager in the Cloud Enablement team.
