We are currently seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our talented team of engineers, dedicated to delivering a more sustainable future. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring end-to-end platform reliability, security, and internal tooling. You will have the opportunity to strongly influence and contribute to the team’s future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable, highly available infrastructure and internal tooling solutions using TypeScript and Python in AWS
  • Enable fast iteration through implementation and improvement of automation
  • Take ownership of ensuring continuous operation of critical systems, including databases and ETL pipelines
  • Reason about cloud infrastructure strategy to help ensure that solutions are the best fit for requirements
  • Develop and evangelise security best practices, such as automation of a secure software development process

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ of experience in DevOps, SecOps or Platform Engineering roles.
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience using infrastructure as code
  • Experience managing cloud databases at scale in at least one of: Postgresql, Elasticsearch, InfluxDB
  • Hands-on experience with AWS
  • Strong understanding of networking and network security
  • Proven industry experience in Secops
  • Proficiency in one or more scripting programming languages (Python, Ruby, Bash, etc.)
  • Linux

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with serverless technologies
  • Experience with Typescript
  • Proficiency in application penetration testing, ethical hacking, and vulnerability assessments
  • Interest in the IoT and renewable energy industry

Duration: Full-Time

Location: Fully remote within the UK, but you are welcome any time at our office in Spitalfields, London (UK), as often as you like.
