We’re now looking for an experienced and highly capable Senior Project Manager – Events to join our delivery team. This role sits at the heart of our client and project delivery — managing relationships, leading teams, and ensuring complex events are delivered seamlessly, profitably and to the highest possible standards.

Working closely with Account Directors and Project Directors, you’ll take ownership of projects or major workstreams within large-scale programmes, acting as a trusted client partner and a confident leader for internal teams and suppliers.

Client Management & Strategic Input

  • Partnering with Account Directors / Project Directors to understand client objectives and shape recommended event solutions

  • Acting as the day-to-day client contact for projects or defined workstreams, managing expectations and requests proactively

  • Building and owning strong client relationships alongside senior stakeholders

  • Managing client communications, call cadence and workstream meetings

  • Using client and attendee feedback to make data-driven recommendations for improvement

  • Managing issues and escalations calmly and effectively, involving senior colleagues where required

Project Delivery

  • Leading end-to-end delivery of small to medium-sized events (50–3,000 pax), from executive forums to large conferences

  • Owning a defined workstream within larger, complex programmes (e.g. Venue & Logistics, Furniture & Foliage, Security, Transport)

  • Creating and maintaining robust project documentation including timelines, trackers and client handbooks

  • Providing oversight and guidance across logistics, production, technical production, creative, exhibition and F&B workstreams

  • Managing vendors and suppliers to ensure delivery meets Nteractive and client standards

  • Proactively onboarding and managing project teams, setting clear cadence and ownership

  • Ensuring timelines, budgets and quality standards are consistently met

  • Developing contingency plans and gaining client approval where required

  • Championing best practice and continuous improvement across Nteractive’s Project Management Framework

Finance & Budget Management

  • Developing accurate, timely event budgets and forecasts

  • Managing overall budgets or defined budget areas up to £5m / $5m

  • Providing clear financial commentary and regular budget updates to clients and internal leads

  • Identifying risks, resolving issues early and ensuring excellent value for money

  • Proactively identifying cost-saving opportunities

  • Managing post-event reconciliation and audit reporting

On-Site Leadership

  • Leading projects onsite as the main event lead, solving problems in real time and adapting plans as required

  • Owning accountability for defined workstreams on larger events, managing suppliers and internal teams onsite

  • Ensuring the highest production standards to enhance Nteractive’s reputation and support repeat business

  • Promoting positive mental health and wellbeing within onsite teams

  • Acting as escalation point for issues, team welfare and overall onsite experience

Team Leadership & Mentorship

  • Leading and supporting project teams of up to ~25 people

  • Coaching and mentoring more junior team members

  • Sharing knowledge and best practice to develop capability across the team

  • Role-modelling Nteractive’s values at all times

Skills & Experience

  • Significant project management experience at a similar level within an agency environment

  • Proven delivery of complex conferences and live events

  • Deep experience managing logistics-heavy workstreams (venue, security, transport, temp staff, furniture etc.)

  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, including contract negotiation

  • Experience managing budgets up to £5m / $5m

  • Experience briefing and collaborating with creative, production and technical production teams

  • Advanced Excel skills; confident with PowerPoint and general ICT tools

  • Experience using project management tools such as Monday, Smartsheet or Asana (desirable)
