If you thrive in a role that blends relationship management, data-driven reporting and cross-department collaboration, this could be a good fit.

Leisure sales in action in Dubai

Your day-to-day work centers on implementing sales activities within the leisure segment to maximize opportunities and deliver results. You’ll build and maintain relationships with travel trade partners through a mix of in-person meetings, calls and events, while also driving exposure for the hotel via direct outreach and written communications. A key part of the job is to ensure complete coverage of your own portfolio, working across departments to deliver a seamless client experience, meet targets and maintain high productivity.

You’ll actively develop prospects, put in place sales action plans for each account, and execute sales objectives designed to reach or exceed goals. Regular feedback about market conditions, competitive activity and emerging trends will be shared with the Director of Sales & Marketing, helping the team adapt strategies in real time. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date account and contact information in the property management system, staying informed about the property’s selling points and policies, and keeping the Director abreast of negotiation progress for each group.

Above all, you’ll model a professional, cordial attitude with guests and colleagues, protect business confidentiality and adhere to hotel rules and regulations. Tips for applicants who want this set-up

Put leisure travel trade experience front and center on your resume, highlighting the accounts you’ve developed and the specific targets you’ve hit. If you managed a portfolio, note how you coordinated with multiple departments to service accounts and how you reported progress to leadership.

Show you can turn prospect accounts into revenue by outlining a Sales Action Plan you’ve implemented for a given account and the resulting outcomes. Include examples where you exceeded targets and how you aligned strategies with market conditions and competition.

Be ready to talk about your ability to communicate clearly in writing and speech, and share examples of how you’ve used Microsoft Office and Outlook to create reports, proposals and client communications that supported decision-making.

Prepare a concrete story about your leadership experience and how you’ve lived the company’s values in your teams. Have a plan to discuss how you handle longer hours or shifting schedules, and what you do to stay organized and focused when demands spike.
