Senior Software Engineer
PushpayPushpay, a high-growth New Zealand SaaS business with offices in Auckland and the United States, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help strengthen our product experience. If you enjoy solving complex problems and collaborating with Product, Design and other engineers to ship value to customers, this could be a great fit.
The team is built around engineers who like to think deeply about the why and the how behind technical decisions. There are clear paths to expand leadership responsibilities as the business grows, and you’ll be surrounded by talented people who value quality and impact.

If you’re drawn to an environment that combines mutual respect, brainstorming, blameless postmortems and recognition for impact, this could be your next move.
Day-to-day work in practice
The role centers on managing project commitments and timelines while coordinating across teams to ensure smooth product deliveries. You’ll work closely with Product and Design to align engineering output with product goals, and you’ll help nurture a strong engineering/product relationship. The environment encourages solving complex problems through open dialogue, learning new technologies, and taking ownership, with opportunities to grow into leading engineering teams as you prove your capabilities.
