Royal London is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (PHP) to join the Long Standing Customer Group Technology and Change function in Alderley Edge on a permanent hybrid basis, reporting to a Lead Software Engineer and contributing across the full software development lifecycle to design, develop and deliver high quality PHP solutions that meet business and customer needs. You will design complex PHP solutions, perform impact assessments, produce technical designs, uphold coding standards, work with testing teams for thorough QA, enable safe production deployments and share knowledge across the team while driving continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has PHP plus Azure, .NET or Angular, strong agile experience and automated testing familiarity, with the ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative engineering team.
